I have just added comments to this blog - it's really about time.

Else I am looking on alternative languages. So far I have tried my luck with

Lua looks promising, but it's way too immature... I tried to install and use their SQL library, but failed miserably. First I used a lot of time to figure out how to compile the library (you got to compile some C and I got a weird ld linking error...) Anyway, I used version 5.1 of Lua, but their SQL library was configured for version 5.0. 5.1 is the current version of Lua. Well, I tried to install some other library, and bam, it was also configured for version 5.0. That's when I reinstalled Lua.

OCaml is pretty damn cool, but it has a really bad syntax.

I am still working on my impression of Lisp :]
