Vim configuration
I have used the VIM Editor for some months (or is it for some years?? My memory is wacky). Anyway, it's really a great editor - a great tool for almost every job. The best thing about it is that you can easily customize it - i.e. extend or change the functionality so it matches your preference.
Over the months I have edited my VIM configuration file a lot of times. Today I sat down and read through it - the configuration file had over 1000 lines! To top it off, I had 3 different versions (one on my Linux box, one on the iBook and one "remote" edition). It was really time for a clean up! After some work I got it down on 700 lines (with comments)! I tried to create a version that is easy to reuse on different setups and computers. I also tried to comment it so it was easy to understand (to help Vim newcomers). Some really great sections are: You can download or view my version. Happy hacking ;-)
