Edge of Chaos

I have been doing a lot of crazy things lately [real life crazy things - ninja style]. Hmm but I think I will just mention my current geeky interest.

I have been absorbed by cellular automatons - yeah, it is weird. What are cellular automatons? Ever heard of the game of life? Well, it is a celluar automaton and a very popular one. If you haven't heard about it press here.

Here is how it started: I had some problems with the Linux version of Mathematica and I headed over to Stephen Wolfram (the guy that has made Mathematica and has majorly studied cellular automatons). My obsession has lasted for 2 weeks and I really think that chaos theory is the way to go to answer some serious questions and solve some hard problems. It is also very fun - math, programming and visualisation - what could be better?
