Google Search 1997-2011: Iterations and simplifications

Like I noted in The essence of minimal product design Google Search is a prime example of a product that conquerors complexity and enables users to search through more than 25 billion pages in a fraction of a second.

Today I stumbled upon a timeline of Google.com evolution from 1997 to 2011. It's inspiring to see how they have evolved their design and made it much simpler over the years.
