Sneak peak at Wedoist (Todoist v2)

That is awesome. I have been using todoist for a while now, and I love it. I was a premium member, but noticed that there were no recent updates to the product, and support seemed to be dwindling. I was having a hard time understanding how such a great offering was not being further developed. Now I know! And I look forward to seeing wedoist launch. I will definately renew my premium membership! Also, if you are interested in a beta tester, let me know! Thanks for the info!

I actually just started using todoist. Despite the relative lack of updates, it really has a very nicely done UI.

wedoist looks like a great successor!

Fantastic, I am quite excited. I am ALMOST ready to leave Todoist due to missing features and as a premium subscriber have been worried about lack of development. If this system has all the benefit of Todoist plus more it will continue to be a success.

As one of the oldest users of Todoist, I'm really happy to hear this :)
But to be honest from the first screenshot I'm not very impressed. And I really hope Wedoist will have a great UI like the other of your major projects Todoist / Plurk.

p.s. Could I ask an little inside (if possible) are using the beta of Wedoist or plan to use it in Plurk for managing ?

Everything in Wedoist is dynamic and everything is in realtime. This means that if you are collaborating with someone then you'll see their changes right away. The complexity of the UI implementation is a lot bigger than in Todoist - thought you will probably not notice this when you try it out.

Hey, any ideas of a target release date you can tease us with?? I dont care if you miss it, just looking for a ballpark. And will be very happy to be a beta tester for you :)

I am excited to hear this. I am a huge Todoist fan but have stopped using it as I can't continue putting so much into something that the developer has stopped his focus on.

I still believe Todoist is one of the greatest todo programs of all time. It has/had more potential than any other in my book. i really hope Wedoist has a todoist base with all the new communication/sharing features that would take todoist to a level above most competitors.

If wedoist is all we hope, my company (and many others) will be loyal customers.

So is wedoist still going to be appropriate for personal todo lists? Part of what I"m wondering is if this will replace the current todoist app.

If it indeed replaces it, will it have any improvements for those of us who just use it for personal projects? If nothing else the UI looks a little more pleasant with its nice curves and stuff.

Just curious. I already like the todoist app as it is quite a lot.

You are truly a gifted and talented person. The combination of your approach to web apps together with your technical skills is unique and inspiring.
