Living as a modern nomad![]() I don't have a permanent home, I am currently selling off my car and I have given or sold most of my other possessions. I have done this on purpose since it gives me an option to travel around and explore the world. I have tried the life of living with a girlfriend in an apartment, having an office and a daily life of working and coming home. And there are many positive things of having a home and I understand why the majority of people live this way. But exploring the world sounds like a more fun and challenging way of living. Living without a permanent home isn't that easy thought as it requires the skill of adoption and sometimes adopting to a place can be hard. My current experience is living 2 months in Taiwan - where majority of the people don't speak English. Afterwards I have lived 1 month in Bosnia and the challenge is adopting to the difference (moving from a city of 3 million (Taipei) to a city of 20.000 (Jajce)). I don't have any specific destinations I want to live in, but I could imagine living in China, Japan, Tibet, USA, Brazil and Australia in the future. This post is related to Thoughts on freedom.
