Living as a modern nomad

World highway

I don't have a permanent home, I am currently selling off my car and I have given or sold most of my other possessions. I have done this on purpose since it gives me an option to travel around and explore the world.

I have tried the life of living with a girlfriend in an apartment, having an office and a daily life of working and coming home. And there are many positive things of having a home and I understand why the majority of people live this way. But exploring the world sounds like a more fun and challenging way of living.

Living without a permanent home isn't that easy thought as it requires the skill of adoption and sometimes adopting to a place can be hard. My current experience is living 2 months in Taiwan - where majority of the people don't speak English. Afterwards I have lived 1 month in Bosnia and the challenge is adopting to the difference (moving from a city of 3 million (Taipei) to a city of 20.000 (Jajce)).

I don't have any specific destinations I want to live in, but I could imagine living in China, Japan, Tibet, USA, Brazil and Australia in the future.

Look within. Be still.
Free from fear and attachment,
Know the sweet joy of living in the way.
