Applying game mechanics to functional software

Posted on 3. Jan · Comments [3]
One of the things I find interesting is behavioral psychology and recently I stumbled on a presentation by Amy Jo Kim on how to introduce game mechanics into any product. The first part is rather interesting and she shows how game mechanics work in YouTube and eBay.

Nice, she has some interesting points to put forward for normal application development. This has given me a few ideas to utilise in my future projects.

Thanks for the heads up,

Hi

I looked for a contact link and couldn't find it, so I'll post my question here.

1. Is Greybox under active development? http://jquery.com/demo/grey/
2. Does JQuery have Greybox functionality already in the core library?
3. I noticed Greybox is LGPL. I want to use it in my commercial web app but from what I read, legally I cannot. Do you mind updating the license to be BSD like.

Thanks

Also, you'll note that JQuery is license under MIT - so it would be great if Greybox was the same.
