Cacti is a nice graphing solution that can graph anything related to your computers and your network. All these graphs can be used to spot bottlenecks and to predict future problems.

Recently I deployed something that ate all the memory. Using Cacti one can quickly spot what time and what deployment the memory problem occurred. This kind of information is priceless when debugging problems.
