Plurk Realtime Search

Plurk now has real time search and indexes over 50 million plurks - we index plurks in real time and we index all plurks (unlike Twitter Search that only index tweets from the past 2 months).

I have personally implemented Plurk's Realtime Search in 4 days, which I am proud of since it's a tough nut to crack. We use the great Sphinx, applied with our own hacks.

This had to happen right.... after twitter came plurk with similar logic of microblogging.... and now after twitter came up with search it is time for plurk to follow suit....

Thank you! but its no where near as complete as I personally would like. I liked the timeline in interesting plurkers with the locality and being able to view random up to date plurks. the stats on other users was cool too. why did you remove it, surely it could have worked well together with search. I'm so sad you guy took this away without telling us :(
