Building simple

Todoist has been featured in The Guardian with following text:

Things to do can be sent in the same way to my other discovery, todoist.com, a very simple, very fast, online to-do list manager, also free. If you are going to use a computerised to-do list at all, this one is nearly as flexible, quick, and powerful as a biro and a sheet of scrap paper. I can't think of higher praise for any program. Get them before they are improved out of all recognition.

It can be viewed online here.

On the outside it may look like I seem to have an exceptionally good talent for creating simple, but highly functional interfaces. This is not true, the thing I do is think a lot about interfaces and build things as simple as possible, but not simpler.

I have become even better to design things and in my new project I have had a pleasure to work with Alvin (a HCI specialist) and I can't wait to show you what interfaces we have created. Our interface simply blows away any website (Gmail, Todoist and Facebook included).

you're making me more curious with every new post :) looking forward to see your new project! :)

Don't get too cocky. First release the bad boy and we'll judge how amazing the inerface is. No doubt it's amazing but stop being so full of yourself.

there are so many amazing that are going to happen in 2008. good start to a year.

Anonymous : I don't think Amir is "full of himself", I just think he is proud of what he has done ...
Btw, you'll be able to judge by yourself when the project will be out. As far as I am concerned, I like Amir's productions (included ToDoist, Skeletonz & GreyBox)

I believe one needs to have a big ego and lots of self belief to achieve greats things.

Thanks for the support Fred :) - let's one day hack on Skeletonz together, just for the old times sake :D

Amir, I have been trying to contact you about licensing some of your software. Hopefully you can read this here and get in touch with me. Your mailbox has reported full to me so I haven't been able to reach you otherwise :(

Thanks in advance.

Kevin

Oh, yeezes greater than Facebook and Gmail huh? Becoming a multi-millionaire and creating something that has over a million users?

Well sure wish you the best of luck!! Looking forward to this new big thing you're working on. :)

Amir: Why are you censoring my comments?

David:
Because I think you have misunderstood Kevin... He has been trying to contact me via email to buy a license.

But thanks for the support and I hope you don't take offense.

Amir! Don't bother yourself. Just concentrate and never give up. If you've decided to win,you are winner. You have this capability. keep going :)

Amir: Ahaa I see. Yeah I really misunderstood his comment then. I'm sorry!

vahid: I agree. :)
