Status, Vision, Goal: Productivity tip
A CS lecture from Thursday had a golden nugget on how to do laboratory exercises. It basically goes like this:
He said we should do this before every laboratory exercise. I think his tip is more general and you can use it on almost anything. For example, do you have a project that you would like to move forward? Then try to think about your current status, your visions and what you need to do in order to fulfill these visions. Better yet try to do following:
The cool thing is that you can check status on your project and you can see what needs to get done. Only thing left is to actually do the work :), but believe me, things get a lot easier when you know what tasks you need to do! |
