Google translator rocks

I read about Google's translator some time ago, the story was that they won a competition in Arabic translation. Today I got a link to a french Todoist review... I don't really understand French, so I tried to use Altavista Babelfish, but the translation was pretty poor.

Then I tried to use Google Translate and I was shocked how much better it was.

Compare these two translations:

The difference is rather amazing!

Apart from that, they have rolled out a dictionary service.

How far are Google from naive A.I.? Imagine being able to Google after "show me posts about python on amix.dk" and the query engine understood such a query and transformed it into a "real" query.
