Firefox rant redux

Weird has posted an article on Firefox and it's problems - yay, it's not only me.

The article isn't great, but it does point out some Firefox issues that I ranted about some days ago:

Statistics are hard to come by, but our own experiences with the browser include crashes, memory hogging, molasses-slow page loads and the spinning beach ball of death. The problems are even worse for Mac users, so much so that last month, Firefox developer Colin Barrett broached the question on his blog: What sucks about Firefox on the Mac?

Memory leaks seems to be the biggest problem. For example: I have restarted Firefox at least 5 times today and still the damn application manages to eat 30% CPU and consumes 300 MB memory (while being idle) - notice that only 3 tabs are open:

Firefox leaks

I have removed most extensions and I have tried to disable caching (none of these "fixes" did help).
