Path finder

A year or two ago I tried Path finder, a file management application for Mac OS X. It was ok, but not great.

Today I gave Path finder another try since I was pretty tired of Finder - the "worst" Apple application in Mac OS X. I was very pleasantly surprised: Really sleek interface, fast interaction and a lot of features (like tabs!)

Try it out if you are running Mac, it's really kick-ass.

might give it a try...

lately I was looking for a mac total commander equivalent and I was not ready to start using the terminal based midnight commander. This is when I found Disk Order which is a decent alternative. Even though it's lacking many features included in total commander.

I might try to learn Midnight commander or something equivalent, since I spend quite some time in a terminal window.

I don't know how effective such an interface is for a graphical user interface.

The classical Norton Commander tool (like Xfiles for Unix plateform) with the MacOsx look-n-feel is Xfolders
