Todoist collapses

One of the core features of Todoist is the ability to build a hierarchical list, Todoist is actually the only web-based todo application that supports this. This feature is now even more powerful:
  • One can collapse (hide away) sub-tasks

This technically makes Todoist into an outliner. Here are two cool ways to use this new functionality:

Sub-taks

How I structure my Todoist project in "sub-taks":

Notes

An example of a collapsed "note":

When the arrow is clicked the "note" expands and info is revealed:
Expanded note

As usual, great work Amir! This will be really helpful.

Another gem in Todoist.

Thank you.

Nice, Amir. What about showing the number of subitems in a parenthesis when the node is collapsed?

Thanks guys :)

There will be more goodness coming soon. I am in Todoist development mode :-D

Hey Amir,
I just saw that you implemented the collapsed counter that Ronald suggested.

I just have to say that I really really dislike that. What's the point of having that counter anyway? If I want to see how many/what items is in I just have to click the arrow! Superfast and it doesn't add any clutter.

I hope you'll remove this counter or I'll probably have to write myself a greasemonkey-script that removes it.

Love the collapsing feature/linebreaks though. Really helpful!

David:
I gave it a try-out to see if it would be useful. I think you are right, the information they provide is useless.

I also feel that project item count is useless as well. I think some visual representation of how many items a project holds is better (more useful). I mean, who cares if there are 3 or 5 items in a project?

I care

Having # of items in a project could matter to some people. If you are going to remove it, how about making it optional instead (set in preferences)?
