Handwriting in the modern world

Generally, I think that our handwriting skills are getting worse and worse as IT becomes more and more used. The main reason for this is, that we don't need handwriting.

I have since high school written most of my school reports using a computer, even math reports. And most of my written exams in high school were done using a computer (even the final math exam!)

Today, when I actually write, it's mostly notes and they are unreadable if you aren't me. When I develop I usually brainstorm before actual coding. Here is how one of my notes look like:

The future does not look that good for handwriting.
