Time for a change
I really feel time has come for a change. Here are the upcoming changes I will peruse:

Switch to Emacs: I am really tired of Vim. I really hate Vi modes. It seems to me that I get slower and slower by using Vi and the stupid modes. Emacs on the other hand does not have modes, but a lot of very logical keyboard shortcuts. I do this switch, even if Vim 7.0 beta is out.

Start using Java for web development: You know what, Python sucks for web development. It's simply too easy. I want back to Java - - where one can use a whole day to just get the framework configured (those were the days...)

Start using Lisp: I have played with Lisp and I must say it is a slick programming language. It's not overrated (at all)... Like, I really LOVE the syntax!

Stop doing programming projects: I use too much time on them. My time would be better spent on watching television and reading fictional books.

Go back to Windows: I am really tired of OS X and Linux - especially OS X. I miss the days of spyware and viruses. I miss that I don't have to run a firewall, a virus scanner and a spyware scanner. I also miss a lot of Windows applications (like Notepad and Wordpad). I actually also hate virtual desktops (that are very well integrated in both Linux and Mac OS X). I also miss dos...
